Detailed answers to common questions about using Escrow Village safely and properly.

What is Escrow Village?

Escrow Village is a transaction protection platform that helps buyers, sellers, and service providers complete deals with more confidence. Instead of paying the other party directly, the funds can be held under agreed transaction rules until the deal is properly completed or a dispute decision is made.

How Escrow Village works

  1. Buyer and seller agree on the product, service, digital asset, or transaction terms.
  2. One party creates the escrow with the agreed amount, details, and fee arrangement.
  3. The buyer funds the escrow through the platform instead of paying the seller directly.
  4. The seller performs delivery or transfer according to the agreed terms.
  5. The buyer releases payment after satisfactory completion, or a dispute is opened if there is a problem.

Deposits

Open Dashboard → Deposit, choose the currency you want to fund, follow the payment instructions shown, and keep your proof of payment until the transaction is confirmed on your account. Always use an account or payment source you control.

Withdrawals

Open Dashboard → Withdraw, select the currency, enter the amount, review the details carefully, and confirm. Certain withdrawal conditions, review checks, or limits may apply for security and compliance reasons.

Disputes

Where a dispute is opened, both parties should provide clear evidence quickly. Useful evidence may include screenshots, chat records, receipts, delivery proof, video proof, or access logs. The better the evidence, the easier it is to reach a reliable decision.

Avoiding scams

  • Do not pay strangers directly outside the platform.
  • Review the exact terms of the deal before funding an escrow.
  • Keep full evidence from the beginning of the transaction to the end.
  • Where anything becomes unclear, open a dispute early and explain the issue properly.
