Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of Escrow Village, including account access, transactions, dispute handling, fees, and platform enforcement.
1) Platform role
Escrow Village provides a transaction protection platform. Funds may be held until the applicable release conditions are met, including buyer confirmation, cancellation, or a dispute outcome determined under platform rules.
2) User obligations
- Provide accurate account and verification information.
- Describe goods, services, or digital assets truthfully and completely.
- Review transaction terms carefully before accepting, funding, releasing, or disputing an escrow.
- Maintain clear records and provide reliable evidence when requested.
- Use the platform lawfully and refrain from fraud, impersonation, abuse, or prohibited conduct.
3) Verification and account controls
Escrow Village may require identity or business verification before enabling specific actions, transaction sizes, or account privileges. The platform may restrict, suspend, or review an account where fraud risk, compliance concerns, or suspicious activity is detected.
4) Fees and charges
Escrow, deposit, withdrawal, conversion, and marketplace fees may apply. The applicable charge, currency, and fee arrangement are shown within the transaction flow or the relevant platform section before completion.
5) Disputes and evidence
Where a dispute is opened, both parties are expected to provide timely and credible evidence. Escrow Village may assess screenshots, chat history, receipts, delivery records, access logs, or other relevant proof. Decisions are made on the basis of available evidence and platform policy.
6) Enforcement actions
To protect users and the platform, Escrow Village may freeze funds, reverse an incorrect credit, pause withdrawals, restrict features, or suspend accounts where there is a reasonable basis to do so, including fraud investigations, policy breaches, or legal obligations.
